Starting something new is hard. Whether it’s your first day at a new school, a new job, your first live stream, or your first date with that cute gal/guy from your IS 3003 class; beginnings are tough. We’ll always find reasons why we could fail, but after everything is said and done it never ends up being the crisis we first thought.
When I first decided to start streaming on Twitch, I had the hardest time getting myself to actually get online and start streaming. There was always something that I needed to do to prepare first. My life was a constant flow of “I’ll start live streaming when I’m ready, once I get this setup, etc.” but in truth I was never going to be ready. I just needed to take the plunge.
One night, just after PAX South, I was dared into streaming by my fiancĂ© and my brother, turns out they were both tired of hearing me put it off. And I have to tell you nothing has been the same since. I’d liken it to learning to ride a bicycle for the first time: I was so nervous and I stumbled a lot but dang was it fun!
And here on this blog I’m starting another new thing in my life. I want to create a platform that I can share my experiences and adventures with all of you and where all of you can tell me about your own adventures.
I have so much to share with all of you, I hope you enjoy the ride!
Toodles,
